The CSEG Ski Spree is fast approaching, and we can't wait! The committee welcomes you all to join us back on the friendly slopes of Fairmont, British Columbia.

Winter is on its way so it won't be long before we're digging those skis out and itching to hit the slopes. I am looking forward to the 58th annual CSEG Ski Spree, that will take place from February 21st to 23rd, 2025 at the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort in beautiful British Columbia.

The first Ski Spree happened in 1967 and has been held at the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort every year to date. We look forward to continuing this long-standing tradition. The 2024 edition was special because we saw this event grow once again, back closer to historical sizes after successfully getting the event back up and running the previous winter. Between economic downturns and covid-19, there was no certainty that the CSEG Ski Spree would be able to continue, so we are very thankful that is has, and that we have such wonderful support! Let's make the 58th annual another great event!

The CSEG Ski Spree is an excellent opportunity to network with industry colleagues, see old friends, make new connections, and take home some shiny hardware! While this event always prioritizes a family focus, it is open to anyone from the Geoscience community in Calgary and beyond. We look forward to seeing you all in Fairmont in February!
