Information

• Geophysical Industry Field Trip (GIFT) 2026 will be held from Wednesday, May 6th, 2026 to Saturday, May 9th, 2026 in Calgary, Alberta.
• The Wednesday evening mixer event will be optional, and attendees will be dropped back in Downtown Calgary by 5:30 PM on Saturday. Please arrange your departing transportation accordingly.
• The main three-day event costs $250. Please pay by credit card or E-Transfer to jimra@cseg.ca with a note in the memo as follows: "GIFT 2026 Registration Fee - [Student Name]" (This fee goes towards transportation and the hotel for the overnight field portion outside of Calgary).
• All event meals and transportation are included in the registration fee; students must arrange for their own transportation to Calgary and accommodations (aside from the overnight field trip portion).
• To apply for a Travel Grant & Learning Subsidy please visit the CSEG Foundation website for more information. If cost is a barrier, please reach out to the GIFT 2026 Committee and they will work with you to figure something out.
• Before submitting this application, you must ensure you are eligible and can attend ALL days of the event.
• Applications are accepted on a first come first serve basis until maximum capacity is reached (filling out this form does not necessarily guarantee you a spot).

• This event is only open to students and recent graduates (within the last 5 years)
• Refunds will no longer be provided after April 17th, 2026.
• By registering for GIFT 2026 you are giving your implied consent that any photos or videos taken may be used for promotional purposes of future GIFT or other CSEG events.
