Enbridge, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Illinois Extension Pipeline Company, L.L.C. will be holding a binding Open Season for the Southern Access Extension Pipeline (SAX, Line 63) Expansion, offering up to 50,000 barrels per day of incremental capacity. The contracted capacity will be available under an International Joint Tariff, with receipts in Western Canada and delivery to Nederland, Texas via the Enbridge Mainline, SAX, and Energy Transfer Crude Oil  Pipeline (ETCOP) or an International Joint Tariff to Patoka, Illinois via the Enbridge Mainline and SAX.

Open Season Process

The Open Season will begin at 12 p.m. MST on April 10, 2026 and conclude at 12 p.m. MST on May 29, 2026.

Bona fide potential shippers that desire to receive copies of the Open Season documents, including Open Season Procedures and Transportation Service Agreements, are required to execute a Confidentiality Agreement (CA). Please reach out to the contacts listed below.
